Before tutoring begins, I take time to understand the student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. The student and parent or guardian can share their perspectives, ask questions, and decide whether working together feels right.

Get in touch
Use the inquiry form or contact me directly with a brief description of the support you’re seeking. I’ll follow up with the parent and student application forms.

Complete the applications
Parent and student applications help me understand strengths, interests, relevant learning needs, and goals from different perspectives. There are no right or wrong answers.

Join a free introductory conversation
After reviewing the applications and relevant materials, I’ll arrange an online conversation with the student and parent or guardian. Allow approximately 30 minutes to discuss questions, support, and fit.

Confirm the tutoring arrangement
We’ll agree on session format, length, schedule, and goals for the 10-session package. The service agreement and advance payment are completed before tutoring begins.

Begin with a practical plan
We’ll look closely at the material that needs attention and identify what to prepare. Following sessions review previous work, address current questions, and agree on practical next steps.

Progress you can see
A written progress report is shared with the student and parent or guardian after every 10 sessions. More frequent discussions can be arranged when needed.
Email and text are the main channels for scheduling and routine communication. Calls or online meetings can be arranged when useful.

Sessions are by appointment and subject to availability. Your schedule will be confirmed during enrollment.
Common questions
A little clarity before we begin
Where do sessions take place?
Online, in English, for students across the United States. Connection details and preparation instructions will be provided before your first session.
How long is a session?
Individual sessions last 30–60 minutes, most approximately 45 minutes. Small groups generally run close to one hour. We’ll agree on length before tutoring begins.
What should students prepare?
Useful materials include assignment instructions, deadlines, a class syllabus, or graded work. Arrive ready to participate and share what you understand, what feels difficult, and what you have tried.
Can we book a session immediately?
New students begin with applications and an introductory conversation. Sessions are scheduled after we agree the service is a good fit and complete enrollment arrangements.
Do you offer one-time sessions?
No. Tutoring is arranged in packages of 10 sessions so we can work consistently toward the student’s goals.
How much does tutoring cost?
Individual tutoring is $350 USD for 10 sessions. Small-group tutoring is $250 USD per student for 10 sessions, with two to six students. Packages are paid in advance.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability. Missed sessions and cancellations with less notice are normally charged. Exceptions are at my discretion. Full terms will be reviewed before enrollment.
Can students ask questions between sessions?
Yes. Questions between sessions are included. We’ll agree on appropriate communication arrangements when tutoring begins.
What if a student has an IEP or a 504 plan?
The parent application provides an opportunity to share relevant learning needs and educational support plans. We’ll review this to determine whether I can provide appropriate support within my expertise.
Are particular grades or results guaranteed?
No particular grade, test score, or outcome is guaranteed. Progress also depends on the student’s participation, effort, attendance, and circumstances.
What if your schedule is full?
If there is no suitable opening, I can add the student to a waiting list.
How soon will you respond?
Normally within one business day. Inquiries received on Friday may be answered on Monday.
